Export Sales Executive - Permanent, Full Time, Sutton-in-Ashfield with extensive travel overseas as and when required

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at Romo, an internationally renowned, luxury fabric and wallcovering design house, as part of our busy Export Sales team. This diverse role involves assisting the Head of Sales with the development and expansion of our export business. You will be developing the sales of The Romo Group brands and the image of the Company within our export markets.

Working as an integrated member of the Export department, your role will include:

  • Liaising with the Head of Sales to identify new growth areas and proposing action plans to grow sales
  • Visiting overseas agents and distributors in their own market to help with developing the sales of the Company’s collections
  • Presenting the Company’s newly launched collections to overseas agents / distributors and their sales staff
  • Conducting market research and analysis
  • Representing the Company at overseas exhibitions
  • Co-ordinating marketing and PR activities
  • Completing associated administrative duties

To be successful in this role we are seeking candidates who have excellent commercial awareness of residential interior design, retail and manufacturing markets. You will have meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to plan workload and multitask. You will be highly professional and able to perform under pressure.

You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a full clean driving licence. The ability to speak additional languages is welcome but not essential. It would also be beneficial if you have experience working with fabrics / within the interior design market.

Sales Representative - Boston, MA

What will you do?

  • Assist the local A&D community in sourcing fabrics and wallcoverings from our vast product portfolio, for their specific design projects.
  • Schedule regular product presentations to introduce our latest collections. We typically have 4 to 5 product launches per year.
  • Manage customer libraries with a la carte sampling and/or other sales and marketing tools to build an optimal and easy to use product library.
  • Set individual targets and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build key relationships within the design community.
  • Increase our customer base through research and observation, including the use of social media, exploring leads and establishing yourself as a prime designer resource.
  • Meet or exceed a mutually agreed upon annual sales goal.
  • Manage and log your sales calls in our CRM (customer relationship management) software.
  • Generate a quarterly synopsis of your territory with updated goals for accounts that require extra monitoring.
  • Display integrity and a relentless commitment to providing world class customer service.
  • Report to higher management.
  • Make a conscious effort to partake in industry events.

Requirements:

  • College degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in either Design, fashion related sales, or prior industry sales experience
  • Positive, energetic, can-do attitude!

  • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills

Full time 12 month contract (Maternity Cover)

An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual has become available within our Accounts input/ Credit Control department.

Main responsibilities of the role will include:

  • To maintain the sales ledger daily with accurate input of data onto the main computer system.
  • To ensure smooth running of the print room and efficient distribution of documents to other departments.
  • Processing and prompt dispatch of daily export invoices weekly UK invoices and monthly statements to our customers.
  • Helping customers with account queries and processing debit/credit card payments over the telephone.
  • Working in collaboration with various departments, colleagues and managers.

To be successful in this role the Credit Control team are seeking a candidate confident using Microsoft Excel and Word, with previous experience of data entry and using numerical skills, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines.

Candidates will also need to demonstrate the ability to work well as part of a team, have flexibility with their work approach and demonstrate strong organisational / multi-tasking and communication skills.

Colour Retoucher and Support Artworker - Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of our busy in-house Marketing and Graphic design team. Working to strict launch deadlines, the role will predominantly involve cleaning and colour correcting images to deliver quality digital colour matching to our many fabrics, wallcoverings and accessories. The successful candidate will also be required to support our in-house Graphics Team with artworking digital and printed marketing materials. An excellent eye for colour and detail and experience of colour retouching to a very high standard is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To clean up and colour correct product flatshots for our six, in-house fabric and wallcovering brands, working to strict launch deadlines
  • To deliver quality colour matching to our many fabrics and wallcoverings, utilising technical expertise to determine the best and most efficient retouching solution needed to achieve colour accurate, web published results
  • To support the Graphics Team to design and artwork marketing material, sales literature, digital presentations and layouts for e-marketing campaigns

Met deze nieuwe functie ben je het aanspreekpunt voor alle product en collectie gerelateerde vragen voor het klantenbestand wat van binnenuit bediend wordt. Jij zet nieuwe collecties uit bij de juiste klanten, helpt waar nodig met hun projecten en andere vragen. Hierin weet jij als professional hoe je het gesprek aan moet gaan om samen met een klant te groeien maar durft ook het gesprek aan te gaan als groei uitblijft. Je voert je taken uit vanuit ons kantoor en showroom in Houten en werkt daardoor veel telefonisch en online. Jij bent aanspreekpunt in onze showroom voor eigen klanten maar ook als een andere adviseur niet aanwezig kan zijn.

Naast je sales taken ondersteun je onze binnendienst in de serviceverlening, orderverwerking en andere taken. We werken met een klein team en er liggen voldoende uitdagingen. Functie eisen;

  • HBO werk en denkniveau
  • Dienstverlenende instelling en accuraat
  • Je weet van aanpakken en bent in staat snel te schakelen tussen verschillende werkzaamheden
  • Ervaring in sales is een must
