COVID-19: Current Operations

The health and wellbeing of our staff and customers remains our primary concern.  We have reviewed all working practices and safeguarding measures to ensure we can operate safely in accordance with UK Government guidelines.

Our customer service team, working safely at home, are available to take your orders by phone and email. They continue to provide our usual efficient and reliable service.

In line with our carrier's revised operating policies, customers must provide a delivery address, where they can guarantee someone will be available during business hours to accept delivery. Failed delivery attempts will be returned to Romo which may incur additional charges.

For information on individual showroom closures, please visit our Showrooms page.

We are truly appreciative of your support and patience in these unusual times. Our thoughts remain with all those affected by the virus.

How we are Working Safely in our Warehouse

We have reviewed our working practices and safeguarding measures to ensure we can operate safely whilst adhering to UK government guidelines on safe working practices.

Our Staff

Wherever possible our staff are working from home where we continue to answer your calls, emails and queries in our usual friendly way.

Our warehouse staff are working safely from our spacious new warehouse processing and despatching orders whilst adhering to UK government guidelines on safe working practices and social distancing.

Our newly completed, highly automated warehouse, helps limit operators’ handling of fabric, significantly reducing the risk of staff coming into close contact with each other.

We continue to protect the most vulnerable members of our team and those currently unable to work due to the pandemic.

Hand Washing and Cleaning

There are hand washing or sanitiser facilities at all entrance points and designated areas throughout the building.

Additional cleaning regimes are also in force. We are disinfecting all contact points regularly (approx. every 2 hours) and thoroughly cleaning workstations at the start and end of each shift.

Reminders to wash hands regularly throughout the day have been posted in entrances and common areas throughout the building.

Temperature Screening

We have introduced temperature checking stations at entrance points for all staff and visitors entering the building. Everyone has their temperature taken prior to entering the building.

Face Coverings

We have made it compulsory for all staff members to wear face coverings when away from their workstations, moving through the building and in all common areas.

Visitors and contractors are required to wear a face covering at all times.
