London Design Week

13th– 17thMarch 2023

A particularly exciting Design Week for Romo as the brand prepared to launch the magnificent new partnership with Temperley London, founded by Alice Temperley MBE.

As always, a wealth of interior designers, press and customers flocked to London for a week of exploration, discovering the latest trends and perusing new collections from leading interior brands.

In celebration of the Temperley London x Romo partnership, the Romo showroom was transformed into the world of Temperley. Recreating Alice’s living room, large velvet leopard sofas took centre stage, surrounded by textural leopard print and glistening, antique key walls. An inviting space, passers-by were drawn in, transported to a world less ordinary, immersed in the bohemian grandeur of this much-admired collection.

The perfect photo opportunity, a grand copper bath, overflowing with signature disco balls and flamboyant cushions, stood pride of place against a backdrop of the beautiful blooms of the showstopping Lavinia wall mural.

Temperley gowns were considerately placed across the showroom, spotlighting the inspiration behind the launch.

FASHIONING THE HOME

An event to celebrate the magic of the Temperley London x Romo collection, the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour’s Conversations in Design series invited Alice Temperley MBE and Emily Mould to discuss their exciting new partnership. Hosted by Ben Spriggs, editor-in-chief forELLE Decoration, an audience of 150 people were given an insight as to how the eclectic Temperley archive has been reimaged for the home.

The talk was followed by drinks in the Romo showroom that gave customers the chance to meet Alice and Emily and have an informal chat about the partnership. The showroom was a buzz with enthusiasm as everyone browsed the new designs, quick to praise the beauty of the collection.
