Ablaze with colour, Romo takes a new direction at FOCUS 2011.
Romo introduces seven striking new collections for Autumn 2011, to be launched at FOCUS, Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, London.
Sunday 25 September - Wednesday 28 September 2011. (Sunday/Monday trade only - Tuesday/Wednesday public days)
Inspired by the classical grandeur of the stately home and the formality of its gardens, the collections feature painterly florals that are beautifully complemented by the structure and symmetry of geometrics. There is a new vibrancy to this season's collections, with natural vivid shades that have been inspired by exotic floral seen in Royal Botanical Gardens of Europe.

"Chicago is an iconic city. Its architecture, its unqiue and friendly vibe, its inherent sense of style, make it a desirable destination for an international company like ROMO.... A Tribute to The Festival of Britain
Romo marks the 60th anniversary of The Festival of Britain, by naming it's latest print collection Casson, after Hugh Casson, the Festival's Director and architect for the national exhibition which opened in London and around Britain in May 1951.
The Casson collection combines contemporary, geometric designs inspired by 1950s block prints with a delicate leaf design, a textured check and a series of relaxed stripes. Designs in the collection are named after Peter Moro, designer of the Royal Festival Hall, Hidalgo Moya, one of the architects who designed the iconic structure Skylon and John Piper, the British artist who designed the pleasure gardens at Battersea Park that featured spectacular outdoor murals.
The festival was derived by the Labour deputy leader, Herbert Morrison, as 'a tonic for the nation' showcasing modernist architecture and contemporary design in post-war Britain.
